Connect::Portal is a free and independent Internet news site, open to differences in views and opinions. It is one of the leading Croatian public news media covering science and technology policy. Its content is created by the members of Connect, which also includes questions to the Portal's guests. The guests so far have been, among others, Dr.Pero Lučin (former President of the Board of the National Foundation for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development of the Republic of Croatia), Dr.Dragan Primorac (former Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sport), Dr.Miroslav Radman (Director of the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences), etc.

Summer science factory is scientific-educational project for children and youth who would like to spend their summer holidays playing in science creatively and to interact with other children and scientists. The project will be held in Split in summer of 2011, on the premises of Mediterenean institute for life sciences (Medils). Participants will have chance to learn about themselves, about world and life around them, from their simplest building blocks, such as cells and bacterias towards complex organisms, and physical and chemical processes underlying them.
